  1. - heat butter in large pot on meddium heat
  2. - add onions and garlic to pot and suate untill onions are translucent in color
  3. - add beef stock, soy sauce, Worcester sauce to pot and stir
  4. - add roast beef and back bacon to pot one slice at a time
  5. - add bay leafs to pot and bring to a boil
  6. - simmer on low for at least 20 min
  7. - use tongs to remove meat from the "au jus" and evenly distribute it inside the sandwich baguettes
  8. - take out the bay leafs from the pot ladel whats left (the "au jus") to bowls for dipping
  9. - serve hot
