  1. Cream butter. Add sugar slowly and beat well. Add egg yolk, single egg white, and lemon juice. Blend thoroughly. Add flour and nuts. Knead well and shape into small balls. Dip balls into egg white and roll in chopped nuts. Place on greased cookie sheet and top each ball with candied cherry or raisin. Bake for 12 minutes at 365 degrees F.
