  1. Arrange the root vegetables, onion and garlic at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Add the meat, and then the the remaining ingredients and extra liquid if required.
  3. Start cooking in the Slow cooker on High for the first three hours and then reduce to medium and cook for a further three hours or more.
  4. Serve with rice.
