  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the potatoes and boil until tender, about 25 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 teaspoons of oil over medium-high heat and cook the kielbasa slices until browned. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to remove excess grease.
  3. Cook bacon on skillet until nearly crispy and add chopped onion and minced garlic; cook 5 minutes.
  4. Drain potatoes, add butter, milk, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and mash. Stir in bacon/onion and kielbasa.
