  1. Brown the ground beef. Sprinkle with the salt and black pepper while cooking. Set aside. In large stock pot combine carrots, celery, onion, green pepper, cabbage, and sloppy joe seasoning. Pour 4 cups of the beef broth and all the V8 juice over the vegetables. Bring to a boil then cook on med low for 45 minutes. Add can tomatoes, corn, the ground beef, and additional 3 cups of beef broth. Simmer on low for 15 minutes. Serve in bowls with 1/2 to 1c cooked pasta.
