No Name Chicken


"A dear friend just introduced me to the beauty of fresh green beans and they have become my new obsession. I can't stop thinking of different yummy ways to prepare them. I haven't come up with a name for this recipe yet; hence the title "No Name Chicken". Hubby says it should be called "Really Good Chicken.""

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350*.
  2. Place rinsed and trimmed green beans in a 13X9 inch baking dish.
  3. Add garlic, 1-2 TBS bacon bits and the butter. Mix around to distribute ingredients evenly.
  4. Pound chicken breast to an even thickness. Place on top of the green beans and season w/ salt, pepper and Paprika.
  5. Cover dish with foil and bake in a pre-heated 350* oven for 45 minutes. Remove foil.
  6. Top each chicken breast with a slice of cheese and sprinkle with remaining bacon bits. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
