  1. 1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  2. 2. Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips over low heat. Cream butter and sugars. Add melted chocolate chips
  3. and vanilla; beat in eggs; add flour mixture. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts (opt.)
  4. 3. Let mixture set in cool area for 10 minutes (oats are softening)
  5. 4. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet
  6. and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350
  7. degrees F (175 degrees C).
  8. Cool on wire rack.
