"Slow cooking is the key to the great flavor of these beans. They are a huge hit at every BBQ and fish fry we take them to. This recipe makes alot but is also a very forgiving recipe that can be easily scaled to a smaller batch. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do!"

  1. Cook bacon, only until partially crisp. Mix remaining ingredients in a large roaster type pan. Place partially cooked bacon on top. Bake in a 300 degree oven, stirring after one hour. Bake 4-6 hours total, stirring occassionally.
