  1. In large pot bring 6 cups of water. Add pasta and cook 7-8 minutes or until "al dente" DO NOT overcook. Drain and pour back into pot. Set aside
  2. While pasta is cooking, in a large frying pan, brown sausage on all sides until cook through, roughly 10 minutes. Remove to plate and cool. Once cool enough to handle, slice into pieces.
  3. To pasta, add the sliced sausage, tomatoes and pesto. Stir to combine and set over low heat. Simmer for 5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally to avoid it sticking to the bottom of the pot.
  4. Spoon into bowls and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
