In stock pot, saute the onion and garlic until onion starts to soften. Add sausage (and any other meat). Cook for 1 - 2 minutes until onion starts to brown. add in tomatos (with juice). Add in the remaining ingredients. Add water in 1 cup intervals until stoup is to a consistancy of your liking (ie, chili vs soup). Simmer until heated through. Serve with Rice.
