  1. Place the cut-up cake in the bottom of your dish.
  2. Mix together the milk and pudding mix and before it sets up, pour it over the cake pieces.
  3. Place the strawberries and pineapple on top
  4. Top with CoolWhip.
  5. Sprinkle nuts on top if desired.
  6. I find that the pudding is usually set by the time I am done adding the other layers so it can be eaten right away. If not, chill in the fridge until the pudding is set. Keep refridgerated (especially if it is warm.)
