  1. Rinse and cut fresh strawberries.
  2. Place 2 cups strawberries off to side in large bowl.
  3. Mash remaining 3 cups of strawberries and combine with sugar in a medium saucepan. Place saucepan over medium heat, bring to boil stirring frequently.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water. Gradually stir into boiling strawberry mixture. Reduce heat and simmer mixture until thickened, approx. 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour mixture over strawberries in large bowl.
  6. Prepare custard filling (Q's Custom Custard Filling)
  7. Build the pie - Spread custard filling across bottom of graham cracker crust then poor strawberry mixture over top. Immediately place in refrigerator and chill for several hours before serving.
  8. Serve with Whipped Cream
