  1. Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add 2 tsp of cumin. Blanche the cauliflower flaurets in the boiling water for a couple of minutes in batches.
  2. Using a hand mixer, processer or blender, mix flour, egg, garlic, cumin, tomato paste and salt. Thin the batter with milk or water as needed.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep skillet, dip the florets in the batter the fry till golden and crispy (around 6-8 min). Be careful not to overcrowd the pan. Drain on paper towels.
