Sweetend Condensed Milk- Shortcut for Snow Ice Cream

"I needed a sweetend condensed milk for Snow Ice Cream when we were snowed in & couldn't get to the store. I didn't have the right ingredients for any recipe I found so I improvised my own. This made the best Snow Ice Cream we ever ate!"

  1. Add ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower temperature to a low simmer for 10-12 minutes and stir constantly.
  2. Remove from heat and let stand until cool. It will thicken as it cools. Hint: Don't put it on ice to cool too quickly it will get too thick to mix into snow.
  3. Pour milk mixture over 1/2 of snow in a metal bowl and stir in. Continue adding snow until texture becomes like soft ice cream. Snow varies so you may need more or less snow to get the right texture.
  4. Eat immediatly!
