  1. Add all ingredients, except the shrimp and rice, to a slow cooker.
  2. Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. 30 minutes before serving turn the slow cooker to high and add the shrimp. Cook until shrimp is pink and cooked through.
  4. Cook rice according to package directions.
  5. Pour over rice when ready to serve.
