Heat 1 tablespoon oil (or more if needed) in a large skillet. Sprinkle pork chops with garlic salt and pepper and saute in pan until nicely browned (about 5-8 mins) on both sides then remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil to pan and saute mushrooms scraping up the little browned bits with it until tender. Then pour the whole can of golden mushroom soup and water into pan.
Add the pork chops and any juices with it. Cover and cook spooning the sauce over the pork chops every so often until they are done (about 10-15 mins) Serve over hot rice and enjoy!!
