Smoked Salmon "Cannoli"

"As this is a Gang-Up challenge I am taking great license with this recipe. My theme was Italian dessert appetizers. This is a very loose interpretation of a Cannoli appetizer that is savoury."

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut four 4" circles out of each tortilla.
  3. Butter both sides of tortilla, roll up and tie into a tube shape with butcher's twine.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes on cookie sheet, until browned and crispy and will hold shape once twine is removed.
  5. Combine mayo, garlic paste, chives and salmon in a ziplock bag. Massage the bag to mix ingredients.
  6. Cut corner of bag and pipe mixture into tortilla Cannoli.
  7. Tie length of chive around Cannoli for decoration.
