  1. Sift Flour then add Salt, Sugar & Yeast into large bowl and mix together evenly. Heat milk in Microwave until it reaches approximately 120-130 degrees. Add 1 egg to flour mixture and slowly stir in milk until batter is smooth. Lightly coat raisins with flour then along with apples add to mixture and stir in evenly. Cover the bowl with dish towel and place in warm area or place in a pan of hot water inside the oven and let rise for an hour or until the mix has doubled in size.
  2. Heat oil in deep fryer (I use a fry daddy and it works great) or pot 350 – 375 degrees F. Use an ice cream scoop to make approximately 1 inch balls then place them in the hot oil 3 to 4 at a time.
  3. Fry Oileballen until golden brown on all sides. First just fry one to make sure they are cooked all the way through before you cook the whole batch. Place fried doughnuts on top of a few paper towels on a plate to soak-up oil. Once cooled roll them in a bowl with the sugar cinnamon mix. Serve warm with a glass of milk.
