Mix up seasonings and rub onto roast. Place roast in roasting pan with fatty side up. Let roast sit on counter for no longer than one hour or until internal temp is no lower than 70. Preheat oven to 460. Bake at 460 x 12 min, then 400 x 8 min, then 325 for 20 min per pound. For medium to medium rare, take out at 128 degrees. Place in foil tent. Temp will rise to around 138 or more the longer it sits. Let it sit atleast 15 minutes for juices to settle. If desired, mix juices with beef broth for au jus.
