  1. Put all ingredients for pesto in a food processor and whiz until you get a pesto texture.
  2. Cook penne pasta
  3. Heat large deep pan ,add a little olive oil and roast pine nuts until lightly brown then set aside .Saute asparagus, zucchini then add remaining ingredients and pine nuts.
  4. When pasta is cooked , drain water then put pasta into bowl and add 1 tablespoon olive oil and toss, then add pasta to veggie mixture in pan and add 1/4 cup of the pesto and toss well.
  5. Serve in bowls and add grated parmesan cheese...Oh yeah !
