  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Over double boiler, melt the 1/2 stick butter and chocolate, whisk in hot coffee. Set aside and let cool to room temperature.
  3. In separate bowl, cream together remaining butter, brown sugar, eggs, shortening and dark cocoa powder. Beat in vanilla and chocolate mixture.
  4. In separate bowl, combine dry ingredients (combine the flour, white sugar, salt, baking flour and soda) and mix in electric mixer on medium speed to fluff and sift.
  5. Gradually add egg mixture, alternately with yogurt mixing well after each addition until smooth.
  6. Bake for approx 20 to 25 minutes, or until it tests done. (You'll smell the chocolate aroma.) DO NOT OVER BAKE!!
