White Wine Beef Stroganoff

  1. Take your 2 TBS butter and melt in a deep saucepan. Add your steak pieces just till it gets cooked on the outside but still pink in the middle.
  2. Take the steak out of pan and put to the side.
  3. Add 1 TBS butter and melt.
  4. Add the diced onion and quartered mushrooms over medium heat.
  5. Cook till the onions are transulcent and then add the white wine.
  6. Add the garlic.
  7. Cook till mushrooms are tendered and it has reduced to half.
  8. Cook the egg noodles according to package in a large pot with some salt while the wine reduces.
  9. Add the steak back into the saucepan with the mushrooms/wine until fully cooked through.
  10. Add the cream of mushroom and sour cream.
  11. Simmer until thickened.
  12. Lay on a bed of egg noodles. Done!


Love it loved it. All my family enjoyed this even my husband who is not a fan of stoganoff.
