Original recipe yields 12 servings

  1. Heat oven to 400
  2. beat eggs and sour cream until well blended
  3. Pour into greased 13x9 inch baking dish
  4. bake 10 min. or until egg mixture is softly set
  5. meanwhile cook sausage, mushrooms and onion in large skillet on medium heat 6 to 8 min. or until done, stirring occasionally. Drain if using beef or pork breakfast sausage that has fat, venison does not need to be drained.
  6. Reduce oven temperature to 325 spoon sausage mixture over egg layer cover with cheese.
  7. Bake 30 min. or until center is set
