Original recipe yields 12 servings

  1. Place chicken thighs and 1 bouillon cube in a large pot and fill with water. Bring to a boil and continue to boil for 1 hour.
  2. Skim any fat from the top of the chicken broth, and measure out 5 cups.
  3. Chop the chicken. Add the rice, onions, peppers, kielbasa, chicken, crushed red pepper, italian seasoning, garlic salt, and remaining bouillon to the chicken broth, stir all together.
  4. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered on medium low heat for 45 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed and the rice is ready, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, add cream of mushroom soup, and stir until well mixed.
  6. Enjoy!
