  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and mix well.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles course peas.
  4. Add diced apple and toss to coat.
  5. Add milk and mix until it just starts to combine, empty bowl onto floured surface and knead dough for about a minute till it is thoroughly incorporated.
  6. Roll out to a thickness of 1 inch.
  7. With a biscuit cutter (or large glass), cut out biscuits.
  8. Place on parchment lined cookie sheets and bake for 15-17 minutes until just starting to turn golden on the bottoms.
