  1. Mix cheese and butter; stir in flour, chives and salt until blended. Shape into small balls. Freeze or refrigerate. Thirty minutes before serving, heat oven to 400. Bake until cheese puffs are set and light golden brown(about 8-20 minutes, depending on size of balls. Try using different kids of cheese: cheddar, hot pepper cheese, or swiss. These will keep in the freezer for 3-4 weeks before you have to cook them.
