Mix together sugar, salt, ground ginger, ground cloves in small bowl. In larger mixing bowl, slowly mix together 1 whole egg and 1 egg white, 1 can pumpkin, and 2 T maple syrup. Slowly add softened cream cheese and mix well until blended. Add sugar and spices from small bowl. Then slowly add the fat free evaporated milk.
Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Cook at 425 degrees for 15 min. Reduce temp to 350 degrees and bake for another 45 min. A knife inserted should come out clean. Allow to cool before serving.
Optional: Can be served with whipped cream or whipped topping.
