  1. Wash and cut the bad tip off the green beans. Steam for 7 minutes on Med-High. Have a pan with the butter and brown sugar ready to put on stove after removing the pot. Remove pot from heat and add the pan to melt butter and sugar. Drain green beans and run COLD water over them for a minute. Sautee the green beans for 5 minutes on Med-High heat.Add salt and pepper to taste.
