"This was my grandmother's recipe and I added a little of my own changes and it was amazing! My family absoutely loved this as did dinner guests, it was such a comfort food and perfect on its own or as a sidedish. You won't be disappointed!"

  1. In mixing bowl, add the flour, buttermilk, eggs, baking powder, and salt. I have needed to add additional flour due to the dough still being sticky, so keep adding if need be. Flour a surface well for the dough once it's done and knead. Generously roll the dough until it's completely covered in flour and roll the dough out with a rolling pin to a 1/4 inch thickness. Cut the dough into squares. 2. Meanwhile, boil the chicken broth and water. Add the dumplings to the pot as well as the chicken and add pepper to your taste. Allow to boil for 30 minutes and then add chopped carrots and celery. Allow to keep boiling for another 30 minutes and in last 2 minutes, add the cream of chicken soup and stir in.
