Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie


"I am a food blogger and I am always looking for a good smoothie to try. Usually, I end up with the fruitiest, sweetly sour smoothie I can find. However, when I decided to create a recipe that combined not only one of my favorite smoothie flavors (raspberry) but also threw in some chocolate, I knew I had to try and make it soon…very soon."

  1. In a saucepan, mix together cocoa powder and sugar. Then add in water and malted mix powder and stir until mixed.
  2. Bring saucepan to a boil on medium heat, stir constantly. Then, turn to low and simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and cool. (I put mine in the fridge)
  4. Puree raspberries in a fine mesh strainer to get the seeds out.
  5. In a blender add milk, raspberries, ice cubes, and cooled cocoa syrup mixture.
  6. Blend until smooth.
  7. Serve chilled.
