Bruised Berry Pie

  1. Make sure butter is softened to room temp (don't microwave).
  2. Preheat oven to 375
  3. In a medium mixing bowl add washed fruits.
  4. Add the juice concentrate (can be fresh if desired). Stir with a spoon.
  5. In a small bowl mix flour and sugar.
  6. Gently stir the flour mixture into the fruit bowl until the fruit is evenly coated.
  7. Set aside
  8. In a small bowl mix the gram cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and flour until mixed evenly.
  9. Add butter. Use the back of a large spoon to smash the butter into the crumbs* until evenly crumbly.
  10. Put the pie crust into the pie pan.
  11. Add the Berry mixture.
  12. Evenly top with the crumb mixture.
  13. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  14. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes.
  15. *You can cut it in as well if you prefer.
