  1. Slice bread into pieces about 2 inches thick, then cut in half. Cut tomatoes and cheese into 1/2 inch slices.
  2. Place bread on baking sheet, and broil on medium for one minute.
  3. Place a slice of cheese and tomato on bread. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Broil on high about 5 minutes, or until golden brown on edges.
  5. Chop basil and sprinkle over stacks. Serve warm.
