  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease a 10 inch tube pan.
  3. Beat the butter and cream cheese together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in sugar and blend well.
  5. Mix in eggs one at a time.
  6. Gradually add in the flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and milk.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Put batter in prepared pan and bake for approximately 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  9. Cool 15 minutes and remove to wire rack to cool completely.
