Its quick, easy, and is a definite keeper. Is it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner? All 3. Anytime of day, you will amaze yourself with this unique, juicy, tasty twist to bread, ham, and cheese. I have to make this at least twice a week!"

  1. Crack two large eggs into a large bowl, mixing egg until the liquid is smooth.
  2. Heat 2-3 Tablespoons Olive Oil on medium or high in a frying pan.
  3. Place/dip both slices of white or wheat toast bread into the egg mixture until all sides are fully covered.
  4. Place the egg-covered slices of bread onto the heated up oil.
  5. Flip when the first side of each slice is a golden brown color, or until fully cooked. (Should take 1-2 minutes.)
  6. Repeat the same for the other side of each slice of bread.
  7. Once both sides of each slice are golden-brown, place desired amount of ham and cheese in between the slices, like a sandwich.
  8. Lower the heat to medium or low, and keep cooking and flipping the sandwich until the ham is hot and the cheese melts.
  9. Turn off heat.
  10. For best, juicy results, place 1-3 spoonfuls of Applesauce or Fruit Jam in between your sandwich. (Optional)
