  1. Pre-heat the oven to 375.
  2. Salt and pepper both sides of salmon filets.
  3. Take a baking sheet and spread it liberally with olive oil, and place salmon filets skin-side down. If you don't have salmon with skin, you could always use bacon on the bottom.
  4. Sprinkle the tops of salmon with garlic powder and dill.
  5. Cut your bacon strips to size, long enough so that they cover all the salmon, but don't overlap too much.
  6. Cook salmon for about 20-25 mins, then turn your broiler on Hi and broil 1-2 minutes to help the bacon crisp up, if needed.
