  1. 1. Coat the chicken with minced garlic and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. 2. Heat the pan over high temp and pour olive oil.
  3. 3. Saute onion until brown then pour chicken for about a minute or until it turns brown.
  4. 4. Add soy sauce, vinegar and bay leaf. Bring to boil.
  5. 5. Reduce heat to medium and let it boil for another 45 minutes to an hour depending on how thick you want the sauce to be.
  6. 6. Occasionally turn the drumsticks in order for the sauce to absorb evenly.
  7. 7. Serve over steamed rice.
