  1. STEP ONE: Finely chop the chives and basil leaves, and throw in the pot with the butter. Start heating the stock in a seperate sauce pan.
  2. STEP TWO: Cube the tomato, onion, and potatoes add to pot with 2 tbsp. of the garlic, 2 tbsp. of the onion, the cayanne pepper, and salt & pepper.
  3. Saute for about 6 or seven minutes untill the onions are tender.
  4. STEP THREE: Mince the garlic cloves, and add that along with the chikpeas.
  5. STEP FOUR: Add the rice and saute in mixture for another few minutes untill all the grains are coated.
  6. STEP FIVE: Proced to add the stock one cup at a time, waiting untill the liquid is absorbed untill adding the next and stirring the entire time.
  7. This will take around 22 minutes give or take a few.
