  1. Turn oven on to 190C
  2. Grease a medium-small glass ovensafe dish with butter
  3. Melt the Butter, Brown Sugar and Golden Syrup in a large pan on a medium heat. Stir until combined into one sticky viscous fluid
  4. Add the oats and stir until evenly coated
  5. Pour the oat mixture into the prepared glass dish and bake until flapjack looks done (15-20mins)
  6. Take out of oven and cut into squares (this recipe should make 10-12) but leave in dish to solidify
  7. Once flapjack has reached room temperature reinforce the cuts (it should be solid now) and turn out. Serve on their own or with ice cream
