Jason's Famous Potatoes on the Grill

Original recipe yields 4 servings

  1. Preheat grill to med-high temp.
  2. Add 1/2 the salt to a pan of water deep enough to cover the potatoes. Bring to a rolling boil.
  3. Cut potatoes into 1 - 1.5" cubes or wedges (big enough to not fall through the grill)
  4. When fully boiling, add potatoes to water and set timer for 6 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine all dry spices.
  6. Add olive oil to dry spices and twirl the bowl around until all the oil mixes with them and the bowl is well coated.
  7. When the potatoes are done, drain immediately and allow to sit for about 1 minute so that any extra water evaporates.
  8. When dry, add potatoes to oil mixture and toss well.
  9. Throw potatoes on preheated grill and cook for about 5 minutes. Turn.
  10. After you have turned them once, return them to the bowl and toss again.
  11. Repeat these last two steps until they are done to your liking and serve in bowl with remaining oil mixture.
