"I've been buying a well known frozen dinner bag that's absolutely fantastic, but rather expensive. So, I checked the ingredients, searched scampi recipes online, and decided to create me own by adding, subtracting & tweaking all of them, creating my own. This is my first!!"

  1. In 12" skillet, simmer 2 Tbsp butter, 1 1/2 Tbsp oil,
  2. garlic, red and yellow peppers.
  3. Simmer on medium heat until garlic is clear & peppers are tender for approx 10 min.
  4. Add shrimp, cook until pink, then remove shrimp
  5. from mixture & set aside.
  6. Add wine, lemon juice, and clam juice. When
  7. mix boils, add remaining butter and remaining
  8. oil.
  9. When butter melts, return shrimp, add heavy cream, crushed red pepper and fresh parsley. Add 1 tsp sea salt.
  10. After pasta boils, reserve 1 c. of water pasta was
  11. cooked in to add to mixture.
  12. Combine pasta and shrimp mixture, mix
  13. thoroughly for 5 min allowing pasta to absorb
  14. sauce and serve.
