"My parents used to make this for big bbq's because it can be made in advance and it goes a long way! It is the one recipe that everyone always wants me to share."

  1. Sautee onions and set aside. Chop bacon into small pieces, cook, and set aside. In a large pot combine all cans of beans and remaining ingrediants including bacon and onion, let heat on a low setting, then simmer for up to 2hours( you don't have to let it simmer for this long, but the flavors mix and it tastes that much better). I like to test the beans and see if i need more of one of the ingrediants, i usually end up adding more hot sauce or worcteshire sauce, it all depends on the flavor that suits your tastebuds best or your guests tastebuds, you can't mess this recipe up.
  2. Note: if you don't have maple style beans, use double the regular beans and sauce and add brownsugar to taste.
