Grammy's Overnight Lasagna


"My Grammy's version of lasagna. Prepared the day before and left in the fridge overnight, it pops quickly into the oven and is on the table in no time. Sometimes I'll gussy it up with herbs and spices, but there is something nice and simple and homey about how Grammy made it. Easily halved or doubled!"

  1. Brown ground beef and drain. Add water, marinara and salt. Bring to boil. In 9" x 13" baking dish, place 4 uncooked noodles lengthwise and 2 broken noodles, to fit dish, on end. Add 1/2 sauce and hamburger mixture and 1/2 cottage cheese and 1/2 mozzarella cheese. Repeat once (don't forget noodles!). Top with Parmesan. Cover with foil; refrigerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 F. for 1 hour. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
