  1. 1. Boil the beans in water (2 inches above them) with 2 cinnamon sticks until the beans are soft (check the water level and add more if you need).
  2. 2. In a different saucepan boil sweet potatoes in salty water, when soft rinse, drain and reserve.
  3. 3.Blend the beans in the water that you cooked them.
  4. 4.Pass the blended beans thru' a colander.
  5. 5. Add the evaporated, coconut and regular milk.
  6. 6. Turn on the heat and add the sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and spices (nutmeg, cloves and cinnamons).
  7. 7. Cook on medium heat for 15 minutes and stir every once in a while.
  8. 8. Add the sweet potatoes, rainsins, salt, butter, vanilla essence and ginger.
  9. 9. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes more and dont forget to stir every now and then.
  10. 10. Serve warm or cold with milk cookies.
