"I came up with this version of bar-b-que ribs mostly out of necessity. When my children were very young, I didn't have the time to keep watch over a grill while my ribs cooked properly without burning. So I experimented with a combination of grilling, slow-cooking, and baking until I came up with a recipe that the whole family loves - and dinner guests request. Don't let the triple method fool you; it's simple & turns out great."

  1. Place rib sections on a pre-heated grill (medium/high heat). Braze the meat on all sides to achieve nice grill marks. (This will only take a few minutes per side.) Remove the ribs from grill and place in a large slow cooker. Cook on low setting for 6-8 hours, or until the meat is tender & done. About 45 minutes before you are ready to serve, combine the remaining ingredients for the sauce. Remove ribs from slow cooker to a large baking pan. Pour the sauce over the ribs. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes, basting occasionally. Sauce will thicken and coat ribs during baking. Enjoy!
