"Yes, technically they're oatmeal cookies but not the kind you're used to. These light as air cookies will be one of your favorites. Whenever I bring them to an event I hear people asking, "Who made these cookies? I have to have the recipe!""

  1. Preheat oven to 325 F. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the butter, 1 cup powdered sugar and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and mix well. Add the oatmeal and nuts and mix well.
  3. Using a teaspoon, spoon small amounts onto a cookie sheet to make small cookies. Bake at 325F for 20mins or until brown. Let cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
