In a medium non stick pan - heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Just before it starts to smoke, add the rice. Stir constantly for about 2-3 minutes until rice is toasty. Add the onion and continue to stir constantly for 1 more minute. Add the chicken broth. Add the garlic salt - start with a little and taste the broth. Add more if you like. Bring to a boil. As soon as it boils lower flame to very low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow 5 minutes before you lift the lid. Serve with your favorite entree.
