Mix flour, sugar, baking soda and ground almonds in a bowl.
Melt butter, let cool till barely liquid.
Add eggs, vanilla extract and butter to the dry ingredients.
Chill in fridge for 10 min.
Use a spoon to drop walnut sized dough balls onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Flatten the cookies slightly with the spoon. The cookies will rise a little, but not spread much. Bake on medium heat till slightly golden. Do not overbake, the cookies will turn out dry.
