Deep Dish Chicken Pot Pie


"This is supposed to be a low-fat recipe from Kraft Foods magazine, but, come on, it is pot pie. If you are gonna eat it, eat it the right way. Therefore, I made a few changes to bring it back to goodness."

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook chicken in dressing in large skillet on medium heat 2 min. Add cream cheese; cook and stir until melted. Add flour; mix well. Add broth and vegetables; simmer 5 min.
  2. Line 10" deep dish pie plate with one pie crust. Pour mixture into pie plate. Arrange other pie crust over filling; flute edges. Cut four slits in crust to allow steam to escape.
  3. Bake 30 min or until crust is golden brown.
