Spicy BBQ Pork Tenderloin with Green Beans

"This is a dual recipe in which you are supposed to save half of it to make something else the next night but it is so good that I have never had any left over to make the second recipe."

  1. 1. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Line shallow roasting pan with aluminum foil. Make Spicy BBQ sauce.
  2. 2. Place pork in pan; tucking small ends under for even cooking. Insert meat thermometer so tip is in thickest part of pork. Brush pork with about 1/4 cup of sauce.
  3. 3. Bake uncovered 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Arrange green beans around pork; drizzle green beans with 1/4 cup sauce. Sprinkle beans with almonds. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, brushing pork occasionally with drippings, until thermometer reads 155 degrees and beans are almost tender. Cover pork with aluminum foil and let stand 10 to 15 minutes or until thermometer reads 160 degrees. (Temperature will continue to rise about 5 degrees and pork will be easier to carve.)
  4. 4. Serve tenderloins with green beans.
  5. Spicy BBQ Sauce
  6. 1/3 cup stir-fry sauce
  7. 1/3 cup regular (not spicy) bbq sauce
  8. 1/3 cup honey
  9. 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  10. Mix all ingredients in small bowl until well-blended.
