  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Melt butter in medium saucepan, adding seasoning mix ingredients. Saute over medium heat until the mixture begins to stick to the pan. Add cream and ketchup, cook until well incorporated, about two minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Remove bay leaves.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix ground beef, pork, seasoning mixture, eggs, and pork rind "crumbs."
  4. Lightly grease (or line with foil) a 9x13" baking dish. Place meat mixture into dish, shaping into a 12x6" loaf.
  5. Bake, uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes. Increase the oven temperature to 400 and bake until done, approximately 30 minutes more.
